“Class act. Great golf, great venue, great cause. Nicely done.” – E. MacDougal
Dr. Boben Babu, PT, DPT has been a welcome addition to the staff since 2016. Parry Physical Therapy Group was the perfect fit for Boben as he purposefully sought out a private, outpatient clinic in which to work that was highly-specialized in orthopedics. As an undergraduate student receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences and then his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, PA, he was always very interested in anatomy and how the body works together as a whole, particularly when affected by injury or illness. This focus led him to direct his clinical affiliations to nursing home and outpatient orthopedic settings.
As a successful and popular therapist of PPTG, Boben often practices in our Lansdale clinic within the Wellness Center of the North Penn YMCA. He has established a great rapport with his patients who range in age from young children to seniors. His wide range of experiences includes treating patients with aquatic therapy in the YMCA’s newly-renovated, zero-entry pool.
As Boben pursues his credentialing as a Certified Orthopedic Specialist, he is grateful for the knowledge he gains from working with Dr. Jack Parry, DPT and the staff at PPTG. One day, he hopes to open his own successful physical therapy clinic.
Parry Physical Therapy Group provides outstanding educational opportunities to students pursuing physical therapy degrees. Temple University student, Stephanie La, has just completed the 4th week of her 12-week clinical affiliation with our team of experts. Working with top-notch physical therapists has allowed her to practice what she has learned in the classroom and get hands-on experience with patients in a busy clinical setting. Stephanie is working hard to meet her student goal of taking on 75% of the patient caseload of a new graduate. Our staff is pleased to support Stephanie and other students like her with clinical affiliations at one or more of our clinics.
I have had the pleasure of mentoring a student during her third clinical affiliation with Parry Physical Therapy Group. This has been a very enjoyable experience as I get to help improve the student’s knowledge regarding orthopedic diagnosis and treatment, as well as foster the student’s confidence and help her grow into an independent clinician ready to enter into the physical therapy profession!” – Dr. Kirsten Bickhart, PT, DPT
Parry Physical Therapy Group values the relationships we have with business partners in our community.
We are proud to support Souderton Area High School students through the Pathways Mentorship Program. We help students explore professions, career fields, and future goals relating to the physical therapy field and provide at least 20 hours of mentoring with our professional staff.
Parry Physical Therapy Group continues to strengthen its valuable partnership with the YMCA organization through its support of their upcoming Christmas Bazaar. The event will take place on Saturday, December 10, 2016, in the North Penn Commons of the Lansdale YMCA (next door to our Lansdale clinic). Local vendors and craftspersons will be participating. Parry Physical Therapy Group is pleased to financially support the activities and donated an Apple I-Pad for the 50/50 raffle!
Bob Varga, Wellness Director of the Lansdale Y, expects a few hundred people to take part in the festivities. “I’m really excited about the Bazaar’s first year. I hope there will be many more in the future!”
Parry PT Group is proud to announce that Physical Therapist Assistant, Adrienne Sniechoski, has recently received her indirect supervision license. This licensing allows Adrienne more independence and flexibility in treating patients. Adrienne joined the Parry Physical Therapy Group staff in August 2015.
Adrienne’s new licensing is a great benefit to the clinic. It allows her to assume the additional responsibility she needs to carry out the best plan of care for each of our patients. Her added independence provides opportunities for us to serve more patients efficiently. – Nancy Offner, PT, MSPT, CLT
